All pallets are made with different materials, but most of them consist of recycled pieces. Not all of them are the same, and it’s important to know all their different types.
In the industry, they should all come in the same size: 48 inches by 40 inches. Furthermore, skid pallets are normally separated into two categories: grade 1 and grade 2.
Skid pallets are made with hardwood or softwood, and the different headings are due to the condition of the pallet or if there was a stringer component repair. For grade 1 options, you can probably find ones with several good stringers and if there are any cracked boards, they’re replaced with a higher-quality recycled piece.
